"When parents of someone with special needs design a program based on what is best for their own child, the rest of us can be comforted knowing much thought and love have gone into it.

Jeremiah's Promise was founded by parents of adults with intellectual disabilities to provide a day program for those adults to thrive in a safe, loving, and Godly environment. The director, a Super Momma herself, and her staff of teachers, know each of the students and tailor their programs to suit each pal's unique needs and talents.

Our young adult son wakes up on Jeremiah's Promise mornings looking forward to the day ahead, and he comes home in the late afternoon excited to share what he's accomplished.

When we heard Jeremiah's Promise will expand its ministry with the nonprofit Trevor's Hope, also founded by Super Parents, to include group homes for adults with special needs, we knew our prayers and those of many others had been answered.

We are realists, and we know we will not always be able to care for our son and he cannot live independently. Our fervent prayers have been that we will find a program where he will be safe and loved, respected and encouraged, where he can be himself and feel at home, where his physical health needs are met as well as his emotional and spiritual. Again, who better to design a place like this than parents who want the same for their children?

Jeremiah's Promise and Trevor's Hope are in the early stages of planning and fundraising for a supervised housing program for adults with special needs. We thank God for putting this project in the hands of such kind and capable hands."
